My Sick Day

Hello friends. Guess what? I have the fever, but my throat feels like I have strep throat. It feels HORRIBLE when I swallow or cough. Last week my bro Biff  stayed home for 3 days because he had a high fever.
Yesterday was the Super Bowl. The 49ers lost by ONE field goal(that's 3 points). I really wanted the 49ers to win by a landslide. My mom and some of the kids in my class will never let me forget that.
Right now as I'm typing this I'm watching TV because it's pretty much the only thing I can do. These are the shows I've watched in order: Looney Tunes, Scooby Doo, Johnny Test, and more Scooby Doo.
My little kittens have kept me company the whole day. If it's one cat or the other, they're always on me, sleeping.

The last 2 1/2 years of my life

Hello again to all my friends that read this blog. I know I haven't posted in a while, so here's a brief overview of the last 2 1/2 years of my life.

a) Turned 9 and 10
b) Started 4th and 5th grade
c) Lost a tooth while coaching bro's basketball game
d) Started texting
e) Got baptized
f) Got braces and got them taken off
g) I went on a road trip to Michigan (on that vacation we stopped at             Chicago for a while)
h) Was Frankenstein and The Incredible Hulk for Halloween
i) Moved from one state to another
j) Had my cat get put down
k) Got two new kittens
L) passed 4th grade and went onto 5th grade

So yeah, I'm in the 5th grade now, and I really like my class.  The last time I talked about LEGO's was on Monday, January 5, 2009, so you'll probably guess that I don't like them anymore. WRONG!! I think that I love LEGO's even more now than I did back in 2009! Well, to prove my point, back then, I probably only had 5 boxes of LEGO's. But now I have 2 humongous buckets of them. I have about 7 built sets. Most of my sets are broken and in pieces. Sometime soon, I am going to separate all the pieces into buckets to rebuild everything. Then, after all the sets are built, I am going to have a huge LEGO war with the good guys and bad guys.
I have my own bass guitar and I love to play it. I play for the kids worship in Sunday School at church. My dad has his own bass guitar and an acoustic guitar. Him and I sometimes play together at home. Even rarer, we are scheduled to play together at church for the kids. When the weather clears up, my dad and I are going to pick up the materials for a box drum and a loft bed. The loft bed is for me and I'll make the area under the mattress into a chill room. It's going to have a beanbag chair and my TV and my LEGOs. I am SO not going to let my bro into it unless he knows the secret password.
I know that I haven't posted in two and a half years, so I will try to post more often.

Summer is done and school is starting

School is starting and I can't wait for the time 8:25 because that is the time were leaving for school. Me and my brother Pedro's teachers are awesome. The best part of third grade is my best friend from second grade is going to be in the same class as me. And we already know the plan on how to get out of school.

I hope that all of the kids going into school have a great time.

That's it for now,

What I liked and disliked about 2nd grade

What I liked about 2nd grade is that I love P.E., I have lots of friends, my teacher is very nice, and that I don't get many Better Choices Cards. (By the way, Better Choices Cards are paper cards that we get when we do something bad.) What I don't like is that I'm leaving to 3rd grade. I also don't like where my class is situated because we have to walk a long way to get to Gym and Music. That is what I liked and disliked about 2nd grade.

Sincerely,

Winter,
Icy, artic, chilly
Sledding, shoveling, drinking hot cocoa,
Snowball fights are fun,

I like poetry because I like the way the rhymes sound at the end of the sentence. Here is an example of a rhyme. "I live on Willow street and my neighbor is a tweet." By: Lochlan Mcgee

What I learned about the people in Haiti

Did you know that there was a giant earthquake in Haiti? I learned that the people in Haiti have no houses so they have to sleep outside. Also, they have no food so they are hungry. Also, because they have no food and no house they will die of hunger or cold, unless we give them money to build new houses and to buy food. I choose to give money to Red Cross so they can give it to the people in Haiti. When I think about the people in Haiti I think about the kids because they need education so I will give the dads money so they can put it together so they can build a new school.

My favorite athlete

My favorite athlete is Michael Jordon. He played for the Chicago Bulls and the Washington Wizards. His second season was cut short by a broken foot which made him miss 64 games and I like it that he got to come back and play again. Last he was 6 feet 6 inches and I'm tall too. That is my favorite athlete.

Sincerely,
LM
